Each user has the ability to set the format of how currency fields display, to do this:
Click the User profile then select Edit.
Select the Advanced tab then navigate to the Locale Settings section.
Select the desired currency from the Currency selector.
Enter the desired format in the 1000s separator field.
Enter the desired format in the Decimal Symbol field.
This user-specific setting override the system setting.
