Mass updating records from the list view

In CRM, fields of the following types can be enabled for mass update via Admin > Studio > Module:

  • Date

  • DateTime

  • DropDown

  • MultiSelect

  • Radio

For any of the above field types, use the below instructions. If your field type is not in the above list, another way you can update records in bulk is via the import process .

To Mass Update multiple records use the following instructions:

  1. Navigate to the list view for the records to be updated. For example Contacts, Accounts, etc

  2. Click Create to add filters

  3. Once filtered to show only records to be updated, below the filter drop-down, select Checkbox to select all

  4. Use the drop-down and select Mass Update

  5. Select the Field to be updated and populate the text box or drop-down with the desired information

  6. Click Update. That field has now been updated for all selected records. The process can be repeated should other mass changes be required


If you are wanting to update a "Tags" field, there is a further option called Append Tags. Leave this checked if you would like to mass update by adding a new tag only. If you wish to overwrite existing tags, uncheck this box.
