You can import records into CRM from a CSV file. Work through the steps below.
Select the dropdown from the module header you wish to import to.
Select Import [Module].
Select **a file from my computer**, then click **Next**.
If required download the template, if you already have a file to import then skip to step 6.
Populate the template with your information. Be mindful of required fields (You can check you haven't missed any of these in a later step).
Click Browse.
Select your file to import. Choose between Create new records only and Create new records and update existing ones as required.
Click Next.
If not using the template map your fields from the dropdown. You can ensure you have all of your required fields here as these will be red and suffixed with an asterisk.
Click Next.
Select fields to be used for duplicate checks. Email address works well.
Click Next.
Check any errors and correct before reprocessing if required.
📌 **Note:** The number of records you can import at once depends on several factors, including the fields being imported and any processes triggered for each record. As a guide, import no more than 1,000 lines at a time.
