Creating a field in studio

  1. Navigate to the Admin page

  2. Select Studio from the Admin options

  3. Select the module you wish to work with

  4. Select Fields

  5. Click Add Field

  6. Choose your Data Type

  7. Name your field

  8. Depending on the field type you may be required to choose a Default value here

  9. Populate any Calculation formulas if required

  10. Populate any Dependency formulas if required

  11. Check the Required box to make the field mandatory

  12. Save

  13. Return to the module home menu by clicking the module name in blue

  14. Select Layouts

  15. Select the layout you wish to add your field to

  16. Drag and drop your new field to the desired location

  17. Save and Deploy

If you would like to create a related field (one that mirrors a field in another module) then please follow the below steps:

  1. Repeat steps 1-7 above

  2. Check the Calculated Value box.

  3. Click Related Field in the top left corner.

  4. Select the Module the field is on and then select the Field from the drop down. (Note: For this stage you will have to ensure a relationship between the modules exists)

  5. Click Insert and then click Save.

  6. Click Save in the top left corner.
