Integrating with Microsoft Connectors using OAuth2 for email

Background: Microsoft are removing the ability to use basic authentication for email services, including the IMAP protocol currently used in CRM.

This means that Group Mailbox Accounts and inbound email received on CRM stops working when the basic authentication is removed from your AD or Azure tenant.

Administrators can configure the Microsoft connector by doing the following:

  • Click Admin then click Connectors.

This allows Sugar to connect to the Microsoft API Services via OAuth2 to send outbound emails, receive inbound emails.

This article covers the administrator's configuration of the Microsoft connector which must be completed before you can configure the email settings in CRM. for Exchange Online.

Please see the following Get support in Access CRM and reference the title of this article should you require further assistance.
